International developed funds focus on developed foreign markets outside of the United States, such as Europe, Asia, and Australia. They are less diversified than total international funds, but are good for investors who prefer investing in stable, well-established countries rather than riskier emerging markets.
International developed funds have a natural heavy overlap with Europe funds, so investors seeking this type of asset might be best suited selecting one or the other, but not necessarily both.
