Mid Cap Blend

Portfolio Role

Mid caps are often overlooked in asset allocation discussions in favor of large and small caps, but their consistent performance actually compares quite favorably.

Market Coverage

Mid cap blend covers the middle 15% of the market between the 70% large caps and 15% small caps.  It represents the entire collection of companies within that segment and uses no value or growth filters.

Many large cap index funds also contain a good number of mid caps.  So be sure to understand the construction of your existing funds before purchasing more.

Stocks on the site are labeled with either a blue or a red color.  Red is for domestic stocks and blue is for international stocks.  Note that the color may change for the exact same asset based on your home country.
