Small Cap Blend
Small cap blend funds invest in small companies with market caps of less than $2 billion.
Small cap stocks have historically performed pretty well compared to large cap alternatives and survived the 70’s and 2000’s relatively better, making them popular diversification options for stock investors. One should note, however, that the correlation to the broader stock market has been closer recently than in some previous years.
