The embedded charts are complex tools that occasionally get a little touchy to operate. If you experience any problems, here are a few things to try.
- Give the page some time to load. If the chart does not appear after 10 seconds, try refreshing your browser.
- If a page gives you persistent problems, try clearing the cookies and cache in your browser.
- If you see an error message about the file not being available, it’s likely an issue with the Microsoft servers. They do suffer occasional outages, and usually repair themselves within a few hours.
- Some corporate firewalls are known to block site embeds. If you have issues with the charts at the office, try again on a private internet connection.
- Some mobile devices struggle with the embedded content. To prevent frustrating page crashes, the charts are designed to only open on mobile devices if you proactively choose to see them. On iOS, avoiding multitouch gestures helps prevent many issues. And if you have issues, don’t give up! Try it again on a dedicated computer with the horsepower to put the charts to good use.
